About Us
Guy White died in Val d'Aosta, Italy on the 12th of February 2000. He was on a climbing trip with friends when he slipped and fell. The Guy White Memorial Trust as set-up in memory of Guy to send young people to Outward Bound.

Lance and Jill are Guy's parents. They are now living in Central Otago.

Educated at Waikato University and Auckland College of Education. Taught Economics, Maths and Geography at two Waikato Schools before moving to Mount Albert Grammar School as HOD Commerce and later Deputy Principal. Appointed Principal of Wairarapa College in July 2003.

I first met Guy in 1995 and we became great friends. He became a flatmate for a couple of years (and the consumption of whiskey increased rapidly!) before he headed off for his big Overseas Experience. Guy always impressed me with his thirst for life and how he challenged and supported those around him to be creative and successful in their lives.
